The cost: $649
Classes are approximately 8 hours combined, split over 2 days. I tend to run over on time, because of our combined enthusiasm, and no one has EVER felt slighted for time or attention during these intensive one on one sessions!
~ Introduction to: Studio Set- Up
What will you learn?
~ Beginning soldering skills, basic forging, sanding, filing and finishing techniques.
~ Beginning soldering skills, basic forging, sanding, filing and finishing techniques.
~ Work on and complete a hand forged Sterling Silver link bracelet and a pair of earrings or a hand pierced necklace, to keep. These are projects I have chosen that will develop the skills you will need to work on your own in the future. The idea is that you take my class to learn the skills and shop set-up, then you take those skills home and expand your own creativity.
Can my friend and I do this together?
- I can accommodate up to two people at once, it takes a little longer to move through the projects, our time may run over, so plan accordingly, but yes, I can teach you and your buddy together. No discount for two students, the class price is per person (it is actually a lot more work)... but SO fun and worth it.
This includes all the tools you will need to use , studio equipment and tools, and precious metals to work with, and YOU go home with YOUR creations, made under my guidance.
What do you get with one on one instruction, versus a classroom situation?
-MY undivided attention and answers to all of your questions.
-A tool list to take home.
-Time to take notes and take photographs of your experience.
-Humor and a real person with 40 years of experience.
